Darryl Derringer is a beat poet with a bit of a violent side. Taking the title literally, he is a savage fighter that strings his rhymes together with brutal combos on anyone in the vicinity. The longer he goes, the harder he hits and the more syllables he flows with.
Most of the necessary "story points" can be found in the piece itself.
I've been riding the Scott Pilgrim high for a while now; this seemed like a good shot at sharing it. Spent a few nights after work on this while listening almost exclusively to Anamanaguchi (who received a special, hidden nod in this piece.)
Been a longtime lurker of DA but this contest finally brought me into the game. Looking forward to everyone else's entries!
